Product Details

Our Model NX4163 nonautomatic explosion-proof effluent pump is rated for Class 1, Division 1, Groups C & D or Class 1, Zone 1, Groups IIA & IIB.  The 1/2 HP NX4163 is a nonautomatic pump requiring an intrinsically-safe control panel and intrinsically-safe floats for operation.

The pump’s vortex impeller allows it to pass 3/4″ spherical solids.  The impeller’s clearance in relation to the pump housing allows water and solids to pass freely through the pump.  This combination of design features lessens the chance of clogging and downtime.

The Model NX4163’s motor housing, pump housing, and base are each constructed of cast iron. The pump’s identification tag, handle, and hardware are made of non-corrodible stainless steel. This attention to detail ensures that the Model NX4163 is able to withstand the most demanding effluent applications.

Every pump is submerged in water and tested to its published performance curve, ensuring it meets your expectations and delivers peace of mind right out of the box.
