Product Details
Our prepackaged basin assembly is everything you need to install your whole system as one item. This includes two model E840 grinder pumps, 36″ x 60″ basin assembly, duplex control panel, and float switches.
Solids are cut into a slurry using the industry proven “scissor like” Tri-Slice ® cutter technology. This includes a rotating cutter cutting against the stationary cutter plate reducing solids down to 1/8″. The 230 Volt, 2 HP, Model 840 utilizes a vortex impeller.
The E840 should use a control panel and control switches allowing it to turn the pump on when called upon. The Model 840 is constructed with a cast iron body so it is able to withstand the most demanding sewage ejector applications. The pump’s identification tag, handle, and hardware are made of high-quality stainless steel preventing rust and corrosion. Everything about the pump is designed in a way that allows it to hold up in the toughest sewage conditions.
This 36″ x 60″ fiberglass basin assembly is job ready and includes Zoeller’s Z-Rail system. This makes it quick to install and prevents the need to enter into a confined space. Installed inside the basin is a ball and check valve, 2″ discharge plumbing at 24″ down from the solid fiberglass cover that is rated for 300 PSF. Shipped loose for field install is a 4″ inlet pipe seal and (2) 2″ pipe seals for vent and conduit. All pipe seal openings are to be drilled at the jobsite for accurate placement. The anti-flotation device (AFD) is built into the fiberglass wall and helps anchor the basin into the ground. This is pivotal in areas of high-water tables or to prevent ground pressures to push the basin out of the ground.
The NEMA 4X control panel is Zoeller’s own Pivot Pro+ panel that includes RED/AMBER/GREEN LEDs for float switch indicators, Pump Run, High Water, System Ready, and HOA functions and elapsed time and cycle counts via USB port. Our level control narrow angle float switch is used to monitor liquid level conditions and activate the control panel. The variable level control switch is normally open when hanging vertically above the liquid level. When the water level rises and the switch is raised a few degrees above the horizontal position the switch closes, completing the circuit to the control panel. The float that encases the mechanical switch is constructed of durable PVC/polypropylene.
