Product Details
Our Model M161 automatic Effluent Pump is designed to remove effluent or ground water in effluent applications. The 1/2 HP M161 is a time-tested and reliable effluent pump. The M161 is a fully automatic float-operated effluent pump. The white polypropylene float is solid so it cannot become waterlogged. This ensures that it is always buoyant and able to turn the pump on when necessary.
The pump’s vortex impeller allows it to pass 3/4″ spherical solids. The impeller’s clearance in relation to the pump housing allows water and solids to pass freely through the pump. This combination of design features lessens the chance of clogging and downtime.
The Model 161’s motor housing, pump housing, and base are each constructed of cast iron. The pump’s identification tag, handle, and hardware are made of non-corrodible stainless steel. This attention to detail ensures that the Model 161 is able to withstand the most demanding effluent applications.
Every pump is submerged in water and tested to its published performance curve, ensuring it meets your expectations and delivers peace of mind right-out-of-the-box.
