The Model 270 is Zoeller’s high‑performance, professional‑grade sewage ejector pump engineered for the demands of deeper sump pits, pump tanks, and residential systems requiring higher head and flow. Built around a 1 HP permanent split‑capacitor motor, the 270 provides significantly greater output than standard residential ejectors, making it ideal for installations with deeper basins or higher lift requirements. This pump model features a double seal on select part numbers, providing extra protection for the motor. If the lower seal were to fail, the upper seal provides a second line of defense preventing pump failure.

Its oil‑filled motor and heavy cast‑iron motor housing offer outstanding thermal management, preventing overheating during extended duty cycles and prolonging pump life. The pump’s engineered‑plastic vortex impeller is designed to pass 2″ spherical solids, ensuring non‑clogging performance even in typical sewage environments containing wipes, debris, and other solids.
