Zoeller STEP (Septic Tank Effluent Pump) Vaults provide a filtered pump chamber for pumping septic effluent from a septic tank or dose tank. Offered in Turbine and Centrifugal configurations, the vaults combine a pump chamber with a removable filter pack that screens solids to 1/16 inch. Both styles fit through an 18-inch septic tank opening and are available in multiple heights to accommodate different tank and installation requirements.

The Turbine STEP Vault is designed for applications requiring higher pressure, including cluster-system pressure sewers, drip dispersal systems, elevated discharge conditions, longer pumping distances, and treatment-system dosing. It accommodates simplex or duplex turbine pump installations from 1/2 through 3 HP, with nominal flow ratings from 11 through 85 GPM. The Centrifugal STEP Vault is designed for simplex centrifugal pump installations where high discharge pressure is not required, including filtered effluent pumping from existing single-compartment septic tanks and dose tanks.
