The Zoeller Model 98 family is designed for high-flow basement sump, dewatering, and light effluent applications where greater capacity and head are required. Its 1/2 HP, oil-filled Permanent Split Capacitor motor is housed in durable cast iron to optimize heat dissipation and support dependable operation. The Model 98 can deliver flows up to 72 GPM and a maximum head of 23 feet, making it a strong choice for demanding residential and light commercial installations.

A non-clogging vortex impeller allows the pump to pass 1/2-inch spherical solids, while the powder-coated epoxy finish and stainless steel hardware help protect against corrosion. Automatic, nonautomatic, and piggyback variable-level configurations are available, along with 115 V and 230 V options. Every Model 98 pump is submerged in water and tested to its published performance curve at the factory. The family is backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
