Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the upper Midwest. Territory would include states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Eastern Missouri, Indiana. The ideal candidate would be located in this region and will possess a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, creativity, organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a disciplined approach to achieving targets. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and a proven track record in sales management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets within the assigned region.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance and meet/exceed sales goals.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to effectively communicate product/service features and benefits to clients.
  • Identify market opportunities and drive initiatives to penetrate new markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to optimize strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product/service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or 5 plus years in similar role
  • Proven track record in sales management with a technical background, preferably in the plumbing industry
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative sales strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide a sales team.
  • Disciplined approach to goal setting and achievement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region 40 plus percent of the time.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
