Accountant Level II

Job Summary

Zoeller Pump Company (Est. 1939) is seeking a General Accountant II to join our Finance Team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Accountant Level II –

· Maintains financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.

· Ensures accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.

· Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.

· Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses with moderate supervision.

· May work on special/unique projects, as well as working with various levels of upper management and other divisions.

· Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within finance and may occasionally direct others in aspects of the department.

· Reports to a supervisor and/or the controller

· Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, candidates working towards Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) certificate. Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certificate, Master’s in Business Administration and/or Master’s in Accountancy is a plus.

· Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
