Product Details
Our variable level control switch can be used to monitor liquid level conditions in pump tanks and lift stations. This particular float comes with a 20′ cord. Intended for use with a control panel, the variable level control switch can be used to activate pumps or alarms. Some of the more common places the switch is used include pump chambers, dose tanks, sump pump basins, holding tanks, lift stations, and other non-potable water applications.
This variable level control switch is normally open when hanging vertically above the liquid level. The switch is engaged when the rising water level lifts it a few degrees above horizontal. This causes an internal circuit to close which activates a pump or alarm connected through the control panel.
The float is constructed of durable PVC and polypropylene. The materials of construction enable the switch to withstand the harsh wastewater environment.
This particular float can be paired with a wide range of our nonautomatic pump models and our Pivot Series Control Panels.
