The 540 Flex^® water powered sump pump is there when the rains start, and emergencies pop up. A power outage can cause sump pumps to be rendered unusable, exposing your basement to the risk of flooding. With the 540 Flex^® as the backup pump, you’ll have the peace of mind that their home is protected. This emergency water-powered backup pump runs on city water pressure and is easily used with any brand of sump pump. With no need to have a battery to stay charged during a long power outage, you are protected 24/7 , even at the most inconvenient times.

This nonelectric backup sump pump uses a 3/4-inch supply line to create enough pressure to force water through a 1-1/2-inch discharge pipe, moving water outside the home. They are battery-less backup systems that use the pressure from the municipal water supply. Doing this allows the pump to expel two gallons for every gallon used.
