The Model LM44 Utility Pump can be used to remove unwanted water from any surface where it may collect. This automatic pump is designed to be a used as a portable pump for temporary use in dewatering applications. The automatic feature shuts the pump off when there is no water left to pump. So, you can be free to do other things while the pump is doing its job. Just set it and forget it.
The most common uses for the Model 44 include removing water from swimming pools, hot tubs, pool covers, basements, crawl spaces, water troughs, rain barrels, and more. It will pump the water level down to within 1/8″ (3 mm) of a flat surface. That is why it is referred to as a “Floor Sucker.”
For added convenience, the Model 44 is equipped with three discharge options. It comes with a garden hose adapter, a 3/4″ female NPT connection, or a 1-1/4″ slip fit. The screened bottom intake prevents solids from entering the pump and creating problems.
Because the Model 44 is so small and lightweight, it is an ideal pump to keep on the garage shelf or on the truck. You never know when you might need to get rid of a bit of unwanted water.
