SmartPak® Plus Residential Alternator

Our SmartPak® Plus Residential Alternator allows two automatic pumps up to 1/2 HP, 12 amps each, 115 V to alternate. Not compatible with grinder pumps. Pump models 63 and 95 may only be used with units manufactured on or after February 1, 2024. The alternating function will extend your pump life in applications where pumps may constantly be called upon.  This is due to a high-water table or other means of constant flow of liquid to the basin.

The Alternator can connect to input terminals on either the Z Control® APak® or Gateway.  This allows the SmartPak to send alarm notifications via email, text, and app push through the Z Control® Cloud. Multiple alarm modes will alert users to potential problems and protect property by switching to the other pump when necessary. The alarm can alert you to high water, loss of power, continuous pump run, breaker tripped, and pump failure. The built-in rechargeable battery will operate the alarm and LED light a limited time during power outage.
