The Oil Smart® Simplex Control Panel is designed to help protect the environment from the dispersion of oils and/or hydrocarbons. The panel comes with an Oil Smart® Pump Switch and an Oil Smart® Alarm Switch. The simplex panel is capable of 208/240/480 V 3 Ph pumps between 6.0 – 10.0 FLA while meeting elevator code ASME A17.1.

The Oil Smart® Pump Switch uses sensor probes made of high quality 304 stainless steel.  These probes can distinguish between oil and water allowing the pump to only operate when sensing water.  The probes call for the pump to run when they sense water and turn off when sensing oil or air. The Oil Smart® Alarm Switch has two probes that can distinguish between oil or water during high liquid levels.  This will signal the panel to send out an audible alarm. Simultaneously, a red beacon will illuminate as an early warning of a problem and 1 of 2 other indicator lights will illuminate.  On the face of the panel either a yellow light will illuminate for high oil or a white light for high water.  There are dry contacts for each of these lights.
