Our simplex 24″ x 24″ polyethylene basin is an essential component of any sewage ejector system. This basin is designed to be buried flush-to-grade in indoor or outdoor installations. The observation port on the lid makes it easy to inspect internal components after startup. It is ideally sized to accommodate sewage or grinder pumps.
Product Details
Our 24″ x 24″ polyethylene basin with an observation port is an essential component in a sewage ejector application. It can be used with either sewage or grinder pumps. The basin can be used indoors or outdoors depending on the site’s conditions. For deeper burials an extension is available.
The basin is designed to be buried flush-to-grade and will accommodate one or more inlets. There is a flat place on each side of the basin to accommodate additional inlets. A 4″ inlet is already molded into the basin to simplify connection to an existing drain line. There is an additional flat area on the lid designed for a top inlet, if needed. The top inlet will handle a pipe diameter up to 4.”
The basin lid includes a green observation port secured in place by a twist-to-lock feature and a tamper resistant screw. The observation port allows for a quick inspection or removal of a float tree for cleaning. The lid also includes threaded connection points for a vent and discharge. An integral cord seal is included for air-tight sealing of pump or float cords.
The basin’s size, features, and versatility make an ideal option for sewage ejector applications.
