The Zoeller Model 805 Grinder Pump family is purpose‑built to solve residential sewage challenges where standard sewage pumps are no longer enough. Designed for pressure sewer systems and difficult wastewater applications, these fractional‑horsepower grinder pumps are constructed with all cast‑iron housings to deliver exceptional durability, superior heat dissipation, and long‑term reliability in harsh environments. At the heart of the 805 family is Zoeller’s Tri‑Slice® grinder system, featuring a hardened stainless‑steel cutter and disc that use a scissor‑style cutting action to efficiently shred household sewage and common “flushable” materials. This design minimizes binding and roping, reducing the risk of clogs while producing a fine slurry that moves easily through small‑diameter pressure sewer piping. The result is dependable wastewater transfer where gravity systems and standard sewage pumps fall short.

The Model 805 family is engineered specifically for residential use, offering 115V and 200–230V single‑phase options without the added cost and complexity of commercial grinder systems. Available in both automatic and nonautomatic configurations, these pumps provide installation flexibility for new construction, retrofits, and packaged basin systems. Their performance curves are intentionally designed to deliver higher flow at moderate head, making them an excellent replacement for traditional sewage pumps in pressure‑based applications.
