Product Details

The Model 295 sewage ejector pump is a powerful 2 HP member of Zoeller’s High Head Waste‑Mate® series, engineered for demanding commercial, municipal, and multi‑unit residential wastewater applications. Constructed entirely from cast iron—including the motor housing, pump housing, and vortex impeller—the Model 295 is built for rugged environments that require reliable solids handling, thermal durability, and long‑term performance.

Its oil‑filled PSC motor ensures excellent heat dissipation during high‑duty cycles, while the vortex impeller efficiently handles 2‑inch spherical solids, making it highly resistant to clogging even in systems exposed to wipes, trash, and heavy debris. With the ability to generate up to 75 feet of head and pump up to 214 gallons per minute, the 295 is ideal for deeper pits, extended discharge runs, and commercial lift‑station designs.

The Model 295 is available in automatic and nonautomatic formats. Automatic versions feature Zoeller’s reliable snap‑action float switch, complete with a float guard for dependable operation in debris‑filled pits or in a wide angle float option to prevent short cycling or to provide a large operating differential to manage pump runtime and avoid turning on due to minor turbulence or ripple . Nonautomatic units can be integrated with control‑panel‑based systems for precise level management in engineered applications.

To withstand the harshest wastewater conditions, the Model 295 also offers a double‑seal (4295) option, featuring two mechanical seals and a stainless‑steel motor shaft for enhanced protection against abrasion and infiltration. The cast‑iron housings, powder‑coated finish, stainless‑steel hardware, and carbon/ceramic mechanical seals further reinforce the pump’s long‑term durability.

Every Model 295 is 100% factory‑tested to its published performance curve, ensuring installers and operators receive a pump that performs as expected on day one.

Backed by Zoeller’s Waste‑Mate® warranty and decades of engineering expertise, the Model 295 is a durable, high‑performance solution for high‑head sewage handling applications.

Features and Benefits
  • Oil-filled motor and cast iron motor housing for optimal heat dissipation which prevents the pump from overheating
  • Available in both automatic and nonautomatic versions. For a nonautomatic pump, external float controls or a control panel are required
  • Corrosion resistant cast iron vortex impeller to allow free passage of 2" spherical solids which prevents clogging and increases reliability
  • Automatic units include a float guard to protect the switching system from debris interference; nonautomatic versions do not include this guard
  • Automatic models use Zoeller’s proven snap‑action float system; nonautomatic versions require piggyback floats or control‑panel integration
  • Powder-coated epoxy finish provides corrosion-resistance and extends the life of the pump in harsh environments
  • Stainless steel screws, handle, and hardware to prevent rust and corrosion
  • 100% Factory Tested - every pump is submerged in water and tested at the factory to ensure that it performs as expected when you receive it
  • Comes with a 1-year limited warranty giving you protection over your investment and the peace of mind you expect in a quality product
