The Model 163 high head effluent pump is engineered for performance in demanding residential and commercial wastewater environments, including onsite septic systems, pressure dose networks, and enhanced flow STEP applications. Its durable cast iron construction and corrosion resistant components ensure long lasting operation.

Powered by a 1/2 HP permanent split capacitor motor, the Model 163 uses an oil filled cooling system to provide excellent thermal stability and prevent overheating during extended duty cycles. The pump features a non clogging cast iron vortex impeller capable of passing 3/4 inch spherical solids, reducing downtime caused by blockages.

Model 163 is offered in both 1 phase and 3 phase configurations, with voltage options ranging from 115V to 460V, giving installers flexibility for a wide range of system designs. Automatic models use preset on/off float points, while nonautomatic units integrate seamlessly with variable level float systems or external control panels for precise dosing. Automatic models are not suitable for septic tank effluent. The Model 163 also includes double seal variants (4163) for environments requiring added protection against seal failure.

Delivering up to 66 feet of head and 61 gallons per minute, the Model 163 provides the high pressure capability needed for LPP and long run effluent lines. Every unit is 100% factory tested to its published performance curve and protected by Zoeller’s limited warranty, ensuring confidence in installation and for years of service.
