The Zoeller Model 922 Grinder Package System is engineered to deliver a standardized, job‑ready solution for wastewater applications where solids reduction and reliability are critical. Designed for residential and light commercial use, the Model 922 combines Zoeller’s Shark® Series grinder pump technology with factory‑assembled basin systems to minimize installation time and reduce jobsite complexity.
Each Model 922 system utilizes the Shark® Series grinder pump and is available in simplex or duplex configurations. Depending on the configuration selected, the system is paired with either an outdoor A‑Pak® alarm system or a Pivot Series control panel. Mechanical float switches are used to provide reliable pump operation and high‑water protection.
The package is offered in a wide range of basin diameters and depths, including 24″, 30″, and 36″ diameter fiberglass basins with depths ranging from 48″ to 96″. This flexibility allows the Model 922 to accommodate indoor, outdoor, shallow, and deeper installations without custom fabrication.
Each system includes 2″ Schedule 80 discharge piping, factory‑installed ball and check valves, a float tree assembly, and an anti‑flotation device. The grinder pump features an oil‑filled, hermetically sealed motor, corrosion‑resistant epoxy finish, and a hardened 440C stainless steel cutter system designed for long‑term durability.
Every Model 922 grinder package is 100% factory tested prior to shipment, ensuring dependable performance upon installation. Backed by Zoeller’s grinder pump expertise, the Model 922 delivers a complete, high‑performance grinder package system ready for demanding wastewater applications.
