The Zoeller Model X4295 explosion‑proof sewage pump is designed to deliver reliable high‑head wastewater performance in hazardous environments where flammable gases or vapors may be present. As the explosion‑proof counterpart to the standard Model 295, the X4295 combines proven Waste‑Mate® hydraulics with robust hazardous‑location safety features.

At the heart of the Model X4295 is a specially enclosed explosion‑proof motor, engineered to contain any internal ignition event and prevent ignition of surrounding vapors. This construction allows the pump to be rated for Class 1, Division 1, Groups C & D or Class 1, Zone 1, Groups IIA & IIB, making it suitable for industrial sumps, refueling facilities, maintenance pits, airports, and government installations.

The pump’s oil‑filled motor provides excellent thermal management during high‑head operation, while the double mechanical seal system and stainless‑steel motor shaft deliver enhanced protection against seal failure and moisture intrusion.
