Specific Job Duties:
Safely and efficiently operate industrial grade single/multi-type drill presses repetitiously and other machine work as assigned on raw/machined castings weighing between 1-60 pounds, while becoming familiar with production processes and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Skills Required:
Prior experience using drilling/tapping machines and/or machine shop tools and production equipment is preferred.
Must be able to lift 60 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift while lifting, bending, and twisting on a regular basis within a machine shop environment lacking climate control features.
It is understood synthetic oils and cutting agents are used for machining processes.
The utilization of pallet jacks, forklifts, lift tables or other lift assist mechanisms may be required.
