Built with a heavy cast‑iron motor housing and pump housing, the 282 is well suited for commercial sewage pits, multi‑unit housing systems, packaged lift stations, and wastewater handling facilities.

The pump utilizes a non‑clogging cast‑iron vortex impeller, capable of passing 2‑inch spherical solids, making it efficient in environments prone to wipes, rags, and high solids concentration. The oil‑filled motor ensures stable thermal operation and long service life, even in high‑duty wastewater cycles. With the ability to reach 26 feet of head and deliver 127 GPM.

Available in both automatic and nonautomatic configurations, the Model 282 offers installation flexibility. Nonautomatic versions may be paired with piggyback float switches for full automatic operation or integrated into panel‑controlled wastewater systems for dosing or high‑flow applications.
