Zoeller Pump Company (Est. 1939) of Louisville, KY is expanding the Industrial Maintenance team (average tenure 15+ years) and in search of qualified candidates to grow with us. The leader in pump manufacturing is proactively preparing for continued growth and succession planning as tenured team members prepare for retirement.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe maintenance repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems to ensure maximum production quantity and quality while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the equipment running as efficiently as possible and keeping the average time-down to a minimum. The Maintenance Technician is required to have a positive attitude while learning new processes and technology. Selected candidate will train on first shift (Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm) then report to third shift (Monday-Thursday 8pm-6:30am)
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to safely demonstrate and perform various physical activities such as walking, pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics systems and components
- Working knowledge of 480 wiring and 24-volt circuits
- Ability to change breakers and contactors and troubleshoot electrical wiring
- Ability to make decisions needed to repair various types of machinery varying from the 1930’s to brand new equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot Programable Logic Controllers.
- Working knowledge of mechanical components such as: gears, and pumps
- Ability to perform basic welding.
- Excellent safety and attendance record, including knowledge of OSHA regulations related to lifting, lock-out/tag-out, and PPE’s.
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendors to discuss repair strategies or to explain completed repairs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
Requirements:
- Three (3) years of experience in Industrial Plant or Facility Maintenance, or similar environments.
- Must have Electrical Experience and Past Robotics training would be helpful. Familiarity with CNC preventative maintenance.
- Must have experience working with machinery and tools.
- Positive attitude as well as a desire to learn. Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs.
- Strong mechanical skills. Strong electronic skills. Demonstrated problem solving. Must be detail oriented, must be able to multitask without sacrificing safety and accuracy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.62 – $33.21 per hour

Schedule:
- 10-hour shift
